What is the Manager Hub in Monotree?

Included in every Monotree plan, with no add-ons

The Manager Hub is a section of the Monotree app for the people who run a department, such as a restaurant manager, a store manager or a hotel department head. It collects everything that needs their attention in one inbox and shows how each person on the team is doing.

The hub has three tabs. Inbox lists what needs follow-up, from employees who are behind on their onboarding to course completions waiting for approval. Team shows everyone in the department with their engagement, seniority and next shift. Progress shows how far each person has come with onboarding, courses and certificates.

The same numbers are available to HQ and to AI. Your AI assistant can answer what needs attention in a department through the MCP server, and the report can be sent to your HR or BI systems.

A manager's day, in one place

Made for managers who spend their day on the floor, not behind a desk.

The inbox fills itself

The hub fills itself from what already happens in the app.

  1. Managers are set per department

A manager of a department gets the Manager Hub in the app menu. Managers of several departments can look at one or all of them combined.

  2. The inbox fills itself

When someone falls behind on onboarding, a task goes overdue or a certificate expires, it appears in the inbox, and the app badge shows how many items are open.

  3. Handle it and move on

Nudge, approve, confirm or remind in one tap. The item is marked as handled, and co-managers of the department see that it is done.

Managers who follow up, teams that keep up

What customers say

Read the story

At La Martinuca we use Monotree to manage our teams across our locations, and there are two areas where the impact has been especially visible: onboarding and internal communication. Before, bringing on a new person involved a lot of manual coordination, scattered information, and an arrival experience that didn't always live up to what we wanted to convey. With Monotree we've made the process more organized, clearer, and more human. The new employee arrives with everything they need from day one, and that makes all the difference.

The platform behind the Manager Hub

Every Monotree feature runs on the same groups, translations, notifications and security, so you set things up once and it works everywhere.

Questions about the Manager Hub

  1. Who can use the Manager Hub?

Employees who are managers of one or more departments. They see the people in the departments they manage, and nobody else.

  2. What shows up in the inbox?

Employees behind on onboarding, to-do tasks past their deadline, course completions waiting for approval, new comments on journey tasks, journey tasks to confirm, invites that have not been accepted, employees who have not been active for 21 days and certificates that have expired.

  3. What happens when a manager nudges an employee?

The employee gets a push notification reminding them of what is missing. The employee leaves the list for 14 days, and comes back marked as nudged if nothing has changed.

  4. Can a department have more than one manager?

Yes. Actions such as approving a course or confirming a task are shared, so every manager of the department sees that it is done. Snoozing and dismissing only affect the manager who does it.

  5. Can a manager choose what appears in the inbox?

Yes. Each manager can turn off the types of follow-up they do not want in their inbox and pin their favourite departments to the top. Administrators set the defaults for the company.

  6. Where does the next shift come from?

From your rota or HR system, such as Planday, Quinyx or Tamigo, through the same integration that keeps your employees and departments in sync.

  7. How do we turn the Manager Hub on?

The Manager Hub is switched on per company. Ask your Monotree contact, and it will appear in the app menu for every department manager.

  8. Do we pay extra for the Manager Hub?

No. Monotree has one price per user, and it covers every feature including the Manager Hub, along with AI, integrations, personal onboarding and live chat support. There are no modules or add-ons.

  9. Can employees use the Manager Hub on both iPhone and Android?

Yes. Your employees use Monotree as your own branded app on iPhone and Android, and administrators manage content and settings in a web-based CMS.
