What are to-do lists in Monotree?

To-do lists are digital checklists in the Monotree employee app. You write a list once as a template, choose the departments it is for and how often it repeats, and the app creates a fresh list for every department every time.

The team works on the list together. Tasks are ticked off live, so everyone sees what is done and what is left, and a task can require a photo as documentation. Lists can run on a shared tablet in the kitchen, at the bar or at reception as well as on personal phones.

Because the lists are data and not paper, managers and HQ can see completion per department and get the numbers sent to the systems they already use.

  • Assign, comment and upload photos on tasks

  • Setup recurring lists, daily, weekly or following your pattern

  • Kiosk users for in-store iPads or tablets

  • Live data and collaborative for all users

What you can do with to-do lists

Made for routines that have to happen every day, in every location.

How to-do lists work

Write the routine down once, and let the app hand it out.

  1. 01

    Create a template

Write the tasks, choose departments, set the repeat pattern and the time the list is due. The CMS Assistant can draft the list for you.

  2. 02

    The team ticks off tasks

The list appears in the app for the department. Tasks are completed live, one by one or all at once, with photos where you require them.

  3. 03

    Follow up across locations

See which departments complete their lists and which do not, and ask your AI assistant for the ones that are behind.

What customers say

Read the story

Monotree has made our onboarding program a lot better. Especially because our employees usually are quite young, they thrive in learning through videos and technology. In the end it helps us to operate our stores better with checklists for daily routines and internal communication.

The platform behind to-do lists

Every Monotree feature runs on the same groups, translations, notifications and security, so you set things up once and it works everywhere.

Questions about to-do lists

  1. What do companies use to-do lists for?

Opening and closing routines, cleaning and hygiene checks, deliveries, campaign set-up, shift handovers and anything else that has to be done the same way every time in every location.

  2. Can a list repeat automatically?

Yes. A template can repeat daily, weekly or in a custom pattern, within a start and end date, and with a time the list is due. A new list is created for each department every time.

  3. Can we require a photo as documentation?

Yes. A task can require a photo before it can be completed, which is useful for cleaning, displays and temperature checks.

  4. Can we use a shared tablet in the store?

Yes. A kiosk user is made for a shared iPad or tablet, so the team can tick off tasks without logging in on their own phones.

  5. Can we get the completion data into our own systems?

Yes. Monotree can send a to-do list report to your own systems every day or every week, and the MCP server lets an AI assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT answer which departments are behind.

  6. Do we pay extra for to-do lists?

No. Monotree has one price per user, and it covers every feature including to-do lists, along with AI, integrations, personal onboarding and live chat support. There are no modules or add-ons.

  7. Can employees use to-do lists on both iPhone and Android?

Yes. Your employees use Monotree as your own branded app on iPhone and Android, and administrators manage content and settings in a web-based CMS.

Put your daily routines on autopilot Checklists that repeat on their own.
