What is onboarding in Monotree?

Onboarding in Monotree is a guided flow in the employee app. A new hire opens the app and finds the courses, handbooks, forms and checklists they need, in the order you have decided, with a progress bar and a deadline.

The flow is put together automatically. Each item is targeted at departments and job titles, so a bartender in Copenhagen and a receptionist in Oslo get different onboardings from the same setup. When the employee comes from your HR or shift planning system, nobody has to assign anything by hand.

The same engine runs after the first weeks as well. Custom journeys can start a number of days after hire, such as a 90-day follow-up or a leadership track.

    Yes. As soon as the employee is invited to the app, they can start their onboarding on their own phone, so the practical things are done before the first shift.

    Yes. You set how many weeks a new hire has to complete the onboarding. The employee sees the deadline, and managers and HQ see which onboardings are overdue.
