Frequently asked questions

  1. Do the MCP server, Open API and webhooks cost extra?

    No. They are included by default in Monotree, at no extra cost.

  2. Do I need a developer?

    Not for the MCP server: you connect it from your AI assistant and sign in. The Open API and webhooks are set up once by a developer or integration partner. Ready-made integrations such as Planday, Quinyx and Tamigo need no developer.

  3. Which AI assistants work with the MCP server?

    Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok and other MCP-compatible assistants and agents.

  4. Who can connect an AI assistant to Monotree?

    Admins, editors and managers. The assistant works as the person who signed in, and only sees and does what they are allowed to.

  5. Can the AI assistant or the API publish content to employees?

    Yes, if you want them to. By default, new handbooks, courses, announcements and events are created as drafts for someone to review. When you choose to, the MCP server and the Open API can publish straight away.

  6. Is our data safe?

    Yes. Your company has a dedicated server, API and MCP keys only get the access you give them, webhooks are signed, and Monotree is ISAE 3000 certified by BDO Denmark.
