What syncs from Quinyx to Monotree

Quinyx and Monotree integration

Every 15 minutes, Monotree reads your Quinyx account unit by unit and brings over the employees of each unit and the scheduled shifts they work. People are grouped by section unless you choose skills, roles, agreements or staff categories instead. Because Monotree reads each unit separately, one connection is enough for the whole account, including units added later.

Scheduling and staff records stay in Quinyx. Units can be linked to Department groups and your chosen grouping to Profession groups, so news and courses find the right people. A new hire's start date decides when their onboarding opens, even if they were added weeks earlier, and anyone on a scheduled shift can start a shift chat with the colleagues working it.

Questions about the Quinyx integration

  1. Which Quinyx groups can become professions?

    Sections, by default. We can use skills, roles, agreements or staff categories instead, one of them per account. Tell us which fits when we connect your account.

  2. Do shifts come from every Quinyx unit?

    Yes, scheduled shifts with an employee on them come from every unit. They show from 14 days back to 30 days ahead, and you can widen that to 60 days each way.

  3. We have many units in Quinyx. Does that work?

    Yes. One connection covers every unit, and a unit you create later is picked up within 15 minutes. A unit you want to keep out, like a closed site, can be left out along with its people.

  4. Do new hires appear before their first day?

    Yes. Someone added in Quinyx with a start date next month is in Monotree within 15 minutes, and their onboarding journey waits for that date.

  5. Besides the unit, what comes from each Quinyx employee?

    Name, email, phone and start date, plus the sections, skills, roles or agreements you group people by. Anyone whose Quinyx profile has no email is skipped. Pay and absence stay where they are.

  6. Does inactive in Quinyx mean logged out?

    Not before their last day of employment. They lose access at the first sync after that day, even if Quinyx marks them inactive sooner, and a grace period set in Monotree can add some hours on top.

  7. Does the Quinyx integration cost extra?

    No. It is included in every Monotree plan.

  8. Can we add people who are not in Quinyx?

    Yes. Add people like head office staff in Monotree directly. The sync only changes the employees it brought in.
