What syncs from Caspeco to Monotree

Caspeco and Monotree integration

Staff with an active employment and a private email in Caspeco come over to Monotree, with name, private email, private mobile number and the start date of the employment. Both the profession and the extra profession travel with them, and the department comes from the bookkeeping distribution unless another field suits you better. Changes arrive every 15 minutes, and rotas are left out.

Caspeco remains the place where you manage employments and pay. In Monotree, departments fill Department groups and both professions can feed Professions, so training meant for a second role still reaches the person. People employed in several departments can be one user in all of them, and the start date opens their onboarding journey. When no employment is active any more, access ends, after the grace period if you set one.

Questions about the Caspeco integration

  1. Can staff see their Caspeco schedule in Monotree?

    No. The integration brings over employees, departments and professions. Shifts stay in Caspeco, and your people use Monotree for news, chat, training and onboarding.

  2. Does Monotree use the private email in Caspeco?

    Yes, along with the name, private mobile number, the start date of the employment, department, profession and extra profession. People without a private email are not synced. Salary and time reports stay where they are.

  3. Can we use the extra profession as well?

    Yes. Both the profession and the extra profession on an employment come over, and each can be linked to a Profession in Monotree.

  4. Some of our people are employed in several departments. Does that work?

    Yes. Monotree can put them in the departments and professions of all their active employments, as one user. It is a setting per account, which we turn on when we connect yours.

  5. What happens when an employment in Caspeco ends?

    Once none of their employments is active, they lose access at the next sync, or when the grace period you have set in Monotree runs out.

  6. Does the Caspeco integration cost extra?

    No. It is included in every Monotree plan.

  7. Can we add people who are not in Caspeco?

    Yes. Add people like head office staff in Monotree directly. The sync only changes the employees it brought in.

About Caspeco

Caspeco is a Swedish software company for restaurants, hotels and similar businesses, with staff scheduling and payroll, point of sale and table booking. It was founded in 2006 by Per Söderqvist, who then ran a restaurant in Uppsala and wanted it to be more profitable. In 2025 it merged with the Nordic restaurant tech company Trivec.
