What syncs from Tidsbanken to Monotree

Tidsbanken and Monotree integration

Monotree reads your active Tidsbanken employees with name, email, mobile and hire date, together with each person's department and their employee group or job title. Shifts come too, but only those built on a work type marked as productive, each placed in its planned department. The sync runs every 15 minutes and skips departments you have hidden there.

Your team keeps planning in Tidsbanken, and Monotree never writes back to it. Departments fill Department groups, while employee groups or job titles fill Professions. The hire date on each employee sets the timing of their onboarding journey. Productive shifts go into each person's calendar with everyone else working them, and any of them can open a shift chat. Setting someone inactive ends their access at the next sync, unless you give leavers a grace period.

Questions about the Tidsbanken integration

  1. Can we use job titles instead of employee groups?

    Yes. Professions in Monotree can follow either the employee group or the job title on each person. The choice is made once, when we set up the Tidsbanken connection.

  2. Do unproductive shifts come over?

    No. Only shifts with a work type marked as productive come over, from 14 days back to 30 days ahead, each in the department it is planned in.

  3. What comes over about each employee, and what stays in Tidsbanken?

    Name, email, mobile number, hire date, department and employee group or job title come over. An employee with no email in Tidsbanken stays out. Timesheets and pay stay where they are.

  4. Do hidden departments come over?

    No. Only departments that are visible in Tidsbanken are synced, so the ones you have hidden never appear when you link groups in Monotree.

  5. What does setting someone inactive in Tidsbanken do?

    It ends their Monotree access at the next sync, or once the access grace period in Monotree's settings has passed, if you use one.

  6. Does the Tidsbanken integration cost extra?

    No. It is included in every Monotree plan.

  7. Can we add people who are not in Tidsbanken?

    Yes. Add people like head office staff in Monotree directly. The sync only changes the employees it brought in.
