What syncs from Lessor to Monotree

Lessor and Monotree integration

From Lessor Workforce, Monotree takes every active employee who has both an email address and an employee number, and uses that number to tie people to their shifts. It brings over their department, their primary group and, if you want them, their secondary groups, plus mobile number with country code and hire date. Active planned shifts come too, and all of it is refreshed every 15 minutes.

Time registration and planning carry on in Lessor. Its departments and groups are what you link Monotree's Department and Profession groups to, and each hire date opens that person's onboarding journey. Each shift is filed under the department where it is worked, so a shift covered elsewhere lists who is on duty in that department that day, and a shift chat goes to those colleagues.

Questions about the Lessor integration

  1. Can we use secondary groups?

    Yes. Besides each person's primary group, Monotree can read their secondary groups, so someone in two groups joins both Professions. Tell us you want them when we connect your account.

  2. Do inactive shifts in Lessor come over?

    No. Only planned shifts marked active come over, from 14 days back to 30 days ahead by default and up to 60 days each way, and each needs the employee number of someone synced.

  3. Why hasn't an active employee come over?

    Check that they have both an email address and an employee number in Lessor. Their shifts are matched on that number too, so a shift without one is left out.

  4. What happens if we rename a department in Lessor?

    Monotree sees it as a new department, so link it to the right group in Monotree again. The same goes for a group you rename.

  5. Which fields on a Lessor employee does Monotree use?

    Name, email, mobile or phone number with country code, hire date, department, and primary and secondary groups. Absence, mileage and payroll data stay in Lessor.

  6. What happens when we set someone to inactive?

    They are removed at the next sync, or once the grace period in Monotree's settings has passed.

  7. Does the Lessor integration cost extra?

    No. It is included in every Monotree plan.

  8. Can we add people who are not in Lessor?

    Yes. Add people like head office staff in Monotree directly. The sync only changes the employees it brought in.

About Lessor

Lessor Workforce is a Danish system for shift planning and time tracking, with absence, mileage and payroll preparation in the same place. It comes from Lessor Group, founded in Denmark in 1972 as one of the first to digitise payroll, which the American payroll company Paychex bought in 2018. Today it is part of Paychex Europe and is hosted in a Danish data centre.
