What syncs from Flexybox to Monotree

Flexybox and Monotree integration

Each Flexybox employee with an email address becomes a Monotree user, refreshed every 15 minutes with name, email, phone with country code and start date. Monotree also reads their employee groups and every department they belong to, so someone who works in two departments is placed in both. Shifts are not part of this integration and stay in Flexybox.

People are still hired, moved and given an end date in Flexybox. On the Monotree side, you point Department groups at departments and Professions at employee groups, so news, courses and handbooks can be aimed at one team. The start date opens each onboarding journey on time, an end date removes access once it arrives, after any grace period you set, and deleted employees go the same way.

Questions about the Flexybox integration

  1. Do Flexybox rotas come over to Monotree?

    No. Staff planning stays in Flexybox. Monotree reads employees, departments and employee groups.

  2. What does Monotree read from a Flexybox employee?

    Name, email, phone with its country code, start date, end date, departments and employee groups. Bookings, sales and everything else stay in Flexybox.

  3. Can someone be in several departments?

    Yes. They join every department they belong to, and their memberships follow at every sync.

  4. Two employees share one email. What happens?

    Only one of them is synced, because each Monotree user needs their own address. An employee with no email at all is left out until one is added.

  5. Does an end date in Flexybox remove access?

    Yes, at the first sync after the end date, and deleted employees go the same way. A grace period set in Monotree keeps them in for that many hours longer.

  6. Does the Flexybox integration cost extra?

    No. It is included in every Monotree plan.

  7. Can we add people who are not in Flexybox?

    Yes. Add people like head office staff in Monotree directly. The sync only changes the employees it brought in.
