What syncs from Simployer to Monotree

Simployer and Monotree integration

Each sync, run every 15 minutes, collects the people marked active in Simployer with their primary email, primary phone and seniority date. It also reads your organisation units, skipping any that are closed, and the unit each person belongs to. Positions come only from current employments, so a job someone held under an employment that has ended is not carried over.

Monotree Departments take their members from units and Professions from positions. News sent to a unit and a position together reaches only that job in that unit, like the chefs at one hotel. The seniority date, not the date an employment began, opens each person's onboarding journeys. The HR file stays in Simployer, and a person marked inactive there is removed at the next sync or after your grace period.

Questions about the Simployer integration

  1. Does Simployer send shifts?

    No. Simployer is an HR system, and Monotree reads people, organisation units and positions from it.

  2. Can we target one position in one unit?

    Yes. Each active unit can become a Department and each position a Profession. Pick both as the audience and only people who match both get the post.

  3. Is onboarding timed from the seniority date?

    Yes. Monotree takes the seniority date recorded in Simployer, not the start of the current employment, and counts journeys and checklist deadlines from it.

  4. Does Monotree see salaries or documents?

    No. It reads name, primary email, primary phone, seniority date, organisation unit and position. Salaries, absence and the documents in each HR file are not read.

  5. What happens when someone is set to inactive in Simployer?

    They are removed at the first sync after that, or when the grace period you set in Monotree has run out.

  6. Does the Simployer integration cost extra?

    No. It is included in every Monotree plan.

  7. Can we add people who are not in Simployer?

    Yes. Add people like head office staff in Monotree directly. The sync only changes the employees it brought in.
