What syncs from Mealo to Monotree

Mealo and Monotree integration

Monotree copies employees, departments, professions and shifts out of Mealo, now called Dully, every 15 minutes. It links to the address your company uses, on mealo.dk or on a domain of your own. Phone numbers arrive with their country code, and each employee's country and hire date come along too.

Staff and schedules are still managed in Mealo. People land in groups by department and profession, or by primary department alone if you prefer, and onboarding opens on the hire date. Because each shift is tied to a department, colleagues on the same day can find each other and start a shift chat.

Questions about the Mealo integration

  1. Can we use primary departments only?

    Yes. It is a setting on the connection: people in several Mealo departments then join only the one marked as primary. Ask for it when we set up Mealo.

  2. Which details does Monotree get for each Mealo employee?

    Name, email, phone with country code, country, hire date, departments and professions. Someone with no email in Mealo is not synced.

  3. How far back and ahead do Mealo shifts reach?

    From 14 days back to 30 days ahead by default, for employees who are in Monotree. Each shift carries its start and end time, department and profession.

  4. Our Mealo runs on our own web address. Does that work?

    Yes. Monotree connects to the Mealo site your company uses, whether it is on mealo.dk or on a domain of your own.

  5. What happens when someone is removed from Mealo?

    Once they are missing from Mealo's staff list, the next sync takes them out of Monotree, unless a grace period is set, which keeps their login for those hours.

  6. Does the Mealo integration cost extra?

    No. It is included in every Monotree plan.

  7. Can we add people who are not in Mealo?

    Yes. Add people like head office staff in Monotree directly. The sync only changes the employees it brought in.
