What syncs from Tamigo to Monotree

Tamigo and Monotree integration

Through Tamigo's Web Services, Monotree picks up your active employees every 15 minutes, with name, email, phone and hire date. Each person is placed in every department where they hold a role, or only in their home department if you prefer. Professions follow employee types, or competencies if you prefer, and planned shifts arrive for everyone on the rota.

Monotree only reads from Tamigo, so hours are still planned and recorded there. From that data it fills Department and Profession groups, starts onboarding journeys on each hire date and puts planned shifts in the calendar, where the people working in the same department that day can start a shift chat.

Questions about the Tamigo integration

  1. Can we use competencies instead of employee types?

    Yes. Monotree reads either employee types or competencies, and a competency that is not active for someone is ignored. Which of the two is used is a setting we make when we connect your account.

  2. Do holidays in Tamigo show up as shifts?

    No. Only planned shifts with an employee on them are synced, from 14 days back to 30 days ahead by default and up to 60 days each way. Holidays planned as 00:00–00:00 and shifts with nobody on them are left out.

  3. Someone has roles in several Tamigo departments. Where do they go?

    Into each department where they hold a role. You can also have Monotree use only their home department.

  4. Can we keep some people out of Monotree?

    Yes. Admins, chosen employee types and chosen departments can all be left out, and so can any department whose name contains a word you pick, such as closed. Tell us what to leave out when we connect your account.

  5. Does Monotree read pay or contracts from Tamigo?

    No. It reads name, email, phone, hire date, departments and employee types or competencies. Pay, contracts and absence are never read.

  6. What happens when someone is no longer active in Tamigo?

    Monotree removes them at the first sync after they stop being active in Tamigo, or when your grace period ends if you have set one.

  7. Does the Tamigo integration cost extra?

    No. It is included in every Monotree plan.

  8. Can we add people who are not in Tamigo?

    Yes. Add people like head office staff in Monotree directly. The sync only changes the employees it brought in.
