What syncs from Timegrip to Monotree

Timegrip and Monotree integration

Timegrip's list of employed, enabled staff is read every 15 minutes, and each person comes over with name, email, mobile or private phone and a hire date worked out from their employment history. Every active workplace they are attached to comes along, and so does the title on their latest employment profile. Their shifts follow, minus days off, and TimePlan accounts can be connected as well.

Your planners keep working in Timegrip. Workplaces decide who sits in which Department group, positions decide the Professions, and the hire date sets when onboarding journeys open. Because every shift carries its workplace, the calendar shows who else works at that workplace on the same day, and a shift chat can be started from there.

Questions about the Timegrip integration

  1. We use TimePlan. Does this work for us?

    Yes. TimePlan is now part of Timegrip, and Monotree connects to it too. Employees, departments including secondary departments, positions and shifts sync every 15 minutes, and people keep access through their last day of employment.

  2. Do days off show up in the calendar?

    No. A day planned with the same start and end time counts as a day off and is left out. Every other shift of a synced employee comes over, from 14 days back to 30 days ahead by default, and up to 60 days each way.

  3. How is the hire date worked out?

    From their employment periods. Monotree takes the start of the current period, and a gap of three days or less between two periods does not count as a break.

  4. Does Monotree get pay or time records from Timegrip?

    No. Monotree takes name, email, mobile or private phone, hire date, workplaces and position, and leaves pay, absence and time tracking in Timegrip.

  5. What if someone is no longer employed or their user is disabled?

    Their Monotree account closes at the next sync, or when the grace period set in Monotree runs out.

  6. Does the Timegrip integration cost extra?

    No. It is included in every Monotree plan.

  7. Can we add people who are not in Timegrip?

    Yes. Add people like head office staff in Monotree directly. The sync only changes the employees it brought in.
