What syncs from Personalkollen to Monotree

Personalkollen and Monotree integration

Monotree checks Personalkollen every 15 minutes and reads everyone employed on that day, with name, email, mobile number and the date they were registered. Each person brings a workplace and a staff group. Published shifts follow, each tied to the workplace where it is worked, while drafts and deleted shifts are left out.

Schedules, time reports and pay are still handled in Personalkollen, which Monotree reads but never changes. Link a Department group to workplaces and a Profession to staff groups, then send news to both together and only the kitchen staff at that one restaurant receive it. Onboarding journeys are timed from the registration date, and a published shift shows everyone working it, with a shift chat for that group.

Questions about the Personalkollen integration

  1. Are unpublished Personalkollen shifts synced?

    No. Only published shifts are synced, from 14 days back to 30 days ahead. A shift that is deleted there disappears from Monotree at the next sync.

  2. Does Monotree see time reports or pay?

    No. It reads name, email, mobile number, registration date, workplace and staff group, and leaves time reports, pay and tips in Personalkollen. Anyone without an email in Personalkollen is skipped.

  3. When does a new employee reach Monotree?

    At the first sync once their employment has started. Monotree only syncs the people employed on the day of the sync.

  4. Can we reach one staff group at one workplace?

    Yes. Send news or a course to a workplace and a staff group together, and only people in both receive it, like the kitchen staff at one restaurant. Members follow on every sync.

  5. Does a finished employment remove someone?

    Yes, at the first sync after it ends, or later if you have set a grace period. If one sync would remove 40% or more of your staff at once, it stops instead, so one mistake cannot empty your app.

  6. Does the Personalkollen integration cost extra?

    No. It is included in every Monotree plan.

  7. Can we add people who are not in Personalkollen?

    Yes. Add people like head office staff in Monotree directly. The sync only changes the employees it brought in.

About Personalkollen

Personalkollen is a Swedish system for scheduling, time reporting and payroll, made for hotels, restaurants, cafés, shops and similar businesses. It was founded in 2011 by Niclas Lundell, Andreas Pelme and Johan Strandberg to make scheduling, staff ledgers and pay easier for restaurants. Its head office is in Umeå.
