Alpinco owns and runs Hafjell, Kvitfjell and Oppdal, three of the largest ski destinations in Norway. The company was established in 2012 and also includes Alpinco Hospitality and Gudbrandsgard Hotell at Kvitfjell. In the 2024-25 season its total revenue passed half a billion kroner, and in 2025 the three destinations came together on one website, alpinco.com.
Hafjell lies 15 minutes from Lillehammer and two hours north of Oslo. Kvitfjell has slopes of Olympic standard on three mountainsides, and both it and Hafjell host World Cup races. Oppdal, the largest ski centre in Central Norway, spreads over four mountain areas with 35 runs. A single season pass, the Alpinco Fjellpass, covers all three.
Alpinco wants to be the leading alpine operator in Norway and the most profitable one, with destinations open all year so the jobs last beyond the season. Its snow is made mainly with hydropower, and the fossil-fuel machinery is moving to biofuel and, in time, to electric machines. The slopes are meant for everyone, whatever their age, skill or physical health, and together with Kirkens Bymisjon, Alpinco gives away ski experiences.
