What syncs from Factorial to Monotree

Factorial and Monotree integration

The integration reads employees from Factorial every 15 minutes, with their name, email and phone. Each person's location comes across, and so does the role on their contract as defined in the Job Catalog, with levels like Junior and Senior folded into that role. If your company sorts staff into teams by brand or work area, those teams can be read as well.

In Monotree, locations and teams fill Departments and Job Catalog roles fill Professions, while all HR work carries on in Factorial. Onboarding journeys are timed from the day each person was added there. Leavers are handled from the termination date, so nobody loses access before their last day ends.

Questions about the Factorial integration

  1. Does Monotree show shifts planned in Factorial?

    No. Monotree reads employees, locations, teams and roles. Shifts planned in Factorial stay there.

  2. Can we group people by team as well as location?

    Yes. Teams set up for brands or work areas can become extra Departments beside your locations. Say so when we connect your account and we switch teams on.

  3. Do job levels become separate groups?

    No. The Profession is the role in the Job Catalog, like Waiter, so junior and senior waiters share one. Families and functions are not read.

  4. Does Monotree read salary or time off from Factorial?

    No. It reads name, email, phone, location, teams if you use them, and the role on their contract. The day someone is added in Factorial sets when their onboarding starts. Salary, time off and documents stay in Factorial.

  5. Does a termination date in Factorial end access early?

    No. They keep access through their termination date and lose it at the first sync after, or once your grace period is over if you have set one.

  6. Does the Factorial integration cost extra?

    No. It is included in every Monotree plan.

  7. Can we add people who are not in Factorial?

    Yes. Add people like head office staff in Monotree directly. The sync only changes the employees it brought in.
