Skello and Monotree integration

The Skello integration brings your employees into Monotree every 15 minutes, together with the establishments they belong to and the job titles on their current contracts. One connection covers every establishment in your Skello organisation, and for people who work in several, you can choose to use only their primary establishment. The sync does not include schedules or shifts.

Skello keeps handling contracts, schedules and archiving, and nothing flows back to it. Monotree places each person in the groups linked to their establishment and job title, opens onboarding from the start of their first contract and keeps them in the app until the end of the day they are archived, whatever their contract end date says.

Questions about the Skello integration

  1. Do Skello schedules come over too?

    No. Employees, establishments and job titles are synced. Schedules stay in Skello, and Monotree adds news, chat, training and onboarding for the same people.

  2. Does a contract end date remove anyone?

    No, only archiving does. People lose access at the first sync after the end of their archive date, in your own time zone. You can add a grace period of a few hours, and if one sync would remove 40% or more of your employees at once, it stops instead.

  3. Which job titles are used?

    The job titles on each person's current contracts. Once a contract ends, its title no longer counts. One-word titles typed in different ways, like WAITER and waiter, become one Profession.

  4. Our people work in several establishments. Which groups do they join?

    All the establishments they belong to, or only their primary establishment if you prefer. Tell us which when we connect your account.

  5. What does Monotree read from each Skello employee?

    Name, default email and phone, the start of their first contract, establishments and job titles. Anyone with no default email in Skello is skipped. Pay, hours and absence stay where they are.

  6. Does the Skello integration cost extra?

    No. It is included in every Monotree plan.

  7. Can we add people who are not in Skello?

    Yes. Add people like head office staff in Monotree directly. The sync only changes the employees it brought in.
