What syncs from Rotaready to Monotree

Rotaready and Monotree integration

Monotree reads your active staff, live sites, positions and rota shifts from Rotaready (now Rotaready Evo, part of The Access Group) every 15 minutes. Each person comes over with one site, one position, a start date, and their work email and phone where set. Live sites are read from every site group, and shifts from 14 days back to 30 ahead.

Rotas are still built in Rotaready. Monotree places each site in a Department and each position in a Profession, and opens onboarding from the start date. Shift times are converted to your country's time zone, and a shift worked at another site appears with that site's team, so people covering can start a shift chat with whoever else is on.

Questions about the Rotaready integration

  1. How far back and ahead do rota shifts sync?

    From 14 days back to 30 days ahead by default, adjustable to 60 each way, for everyone in Monotree. Each shift keeps the site it is worked at.

  2. Someone covers a shift at another site. Where does it show?

    At the site the shift is worked. It is in their calendar, and they see who else is on at that site that day.

  3. Which details come over for each person?

    Name, work email or personal email, work phone or mobile, start date, site and position. Wage costs, timesheets and absence stay in Rotaready.

  4. What about staff without an email address?

    They are left out until they have a work or personal email there. As soon as one is added to their Rotaready record, the next sync brings them in.

  5. How does Monotree know a staff member has left?

    Only active staff are read. Once someone is no longer active in Rotaready, they lose access at the next sync, unless you have set a grace period in Monotree, which keeps them in for that many hours.

  6. Does the Rotaready integration cost extra?

    No. It is included in every Monotree plan.

  7. Can we add people who are not in Rotaready?

    Yes. Add people like head office staff in Monotree directly. The sync only changes the employees it brought in.
